Cut into your glass, or a new panel
If the glass is laminated and your dog is small or medium, we can usually cut the opening into the panel you already have, on site, in one visit. We have cut over 30,000 panes since 2011, standing in the frame, and our installers are qualified glaziers. If a fly screen or security screen sits in front of the sliding door, we fit both openings in the same visit and line them up.
Which size for a sliding door
- Small and medium: usually cut into laminated glass on site.
- Large and extra large: generally a new toughened panel made with the opening in it, so the glass suits the weight going through it. See large and extra large dog doors.
