Most installations take a few hours. The exact time depends on the door type, whether glass, timber, French or screen, and whether any custom adjustments are needed.
Yes. If your door has laminated glass that meets the safety and thickness standards, we can usually cut directly into the existing panel on site. Toughened glass cannot be cut once it has been made, so we replace the panel with a custom-cut toughened one that includes the pet door. Not every glazier can cut a panel standing in its frame, but we do.
Yes. Our pet doors for sliding glass doors are designed to fit in neatly. If needed, we modify the door frame or fit stoppers so the door keeps sliding smoothly.
Yes, we fit pet doors in glass balcony and sliding doors. A balcony door can be common property, so check with your owners corporation or landlord before we cut. If you are not sure, call us and we will talk it through.
